Curtain material!
We got the material for the curtains. I was going to get an owl print online, but it was a little pricey. This material has a bit of a retro look to it. I can add owls to the rest of the decor later. I think I will have enough to make some pillows too.

My new fixer-upper CD!
I forgot to post about the CD that I got for my birthday in July. My brother and his wife got me the Powerpoint presentation on CD that goes through how to change out the lift system. I am so excited except that is was so blazin' hot this summer, I didn't want to do anything outdoors. Oh. Well. Waiting for the nicer weather!

OOPS!
We opened up the camper on Sunday with some help from friends and I forgot to take pictures. What a doof I am! We took out the table to set up outside and it fell over on top of my husbands foot. He put ice on it to keep down the swelling. Too worried about his foot and putting the camper back in place to take pics. Oh well, did get a pic of hubby.

That was a long drive!
So, I was checking out Craigslist like I have been for the past 5 years looking for a cool, cheap camper. Well, found an awesome Apache hardside camper for a good price. BUT it was in Miami. I put it out of my mind. Even though it was what I really wanted. Then it popped up again on Craigslist. I emailed for information and it was still available. I set up to drive down from Jacksonville on Sunday, but never heard back from the seller. I figured that it just wasn't the camper for us. I dismissed it and kept looking. But, I still had a nagging feeling about this camper. Sure enough they called on Monday. Long story, short...I drove down to Miami with my dad and picked it up. Turned around and drove it all the way back to Jax. For a total of 700 miles!
